Lapis Room Introduces the Folk Art & Flower Altar Show, a celebration of storytelling, symbolism, tradition, and the beauty of objects made by hand. This show will celebrate folk art as a universal language, connecting us through shared human experiences that transcend individual culture. Featuring vibrant folk & flower works, the collection will highlight how, across the globe, humble materials and handmade traditions create beauty, honor memory, and foster communal bonds. From ceramics and jewelry to painted altars, sculptural works and contemporary interpretations of folk traditions, this group exhibition brings together 22 artists exploring the places where art, ritual, nature and everyday life meet. Come wander through a garden of strange, sacred, playful and beautiful things. Folk Art & Flower Altar Show Open reception on September 17th, 5-8pm On view through October 11th
