Help Make Our School & Community Vibrant! Join us on Saturday, November 14, from 10 AM–3 PM for a community paint day at Monte Vista Elementary School! We’re bringing students, families, local artists, and neighbors together to give a wall at the school some much-needed TLC and transform it into a colorful piece of community art. Inspired by ideas from Monte Vista Elementary students, the design will come to life with guidance from a lead artist. No art experience necessary! Whether you’re an experienced artist or have never picked up a paintbrush, everyone is welcome to help bring this project to life. Come meet your neighbors, get creative, and leave your mark on a project that celebrates our school and community. Monte Vista Paint Day is the first event in Community Canvas, a participatory street art series that brings people together through public art and helps make our neighborhood a more vibrant, welcoming place.
